Body Language

I'm interested in body language. I have noticed recently that I freqently touch my nose or rub my nose when I'm thinking. When I googled this, I came up with a site that talked about touching or rubbing the nose while speaking meant you weren't saying what you really meant or felt? How could this be the case if I'm sitting there thinking? But I do think it's weird and I imagine I look pretty odd grabbing on to my nose. What's up with this?? Any ideas?

Maybe it's something similar... you might be juggling different ideas or trying out different things in your head, so your rub your nose... it might not end up being your concrete thoughts on the topic.

I do that when I'm nervous, I think. I rub my ear lobes too.

60% of our communication is non verbal. A great deal of it is body language, more than we think. Which is why typing is a **** way to convey how you really feel. I had to become well rehearsed that way cause of some old folks that couldnt really talk or hear in the nursing home I did a placement at.

It might be something your thinking about or opening up and your starting to scratch the surface. The sense of smell is said to be a repressed sense in the same way the smell of certain things can setoff a memory or a feeling.
