Is it okay for me to question reality, or should I go to college and study what the ancient philosophers say about the world and my place in life?

Just wanted your opinions. Thanks in advance for your input to help me decide what to do next year. I'm thinking of studying philosophy at uni.

if it comes up evens - go into the real world.

By all means question reality, but won't philosophy help you do that?
Partly, this depends on what other things you might do-like travel? just an example.
