| | | have you ever had a real psychic reading? i had a phone reading with a respected psychic a few years ago and i thought she was accurate but held back. a few weeks ago, i had 2 hour life reading with another highly regarded psychic in person. this reading actually shook me. some things came up about my childhood that i didn't remember which have been pretty disturbing to acknowledge. it has answered some questions but now i have a million more to answer myself. i have been alternating between numbness and pushing it out of my thoughts to really wanting to focus on working through it all. i'm just wondering if there are other people that have been to psychics that helped them work through their shit and what your experiences were. |

| | | Yeah ive been to a few but only one REAL one. She knew so much about me it was freaky. She was able to descibe the inside of my house and predicted my break up with my boyfriend and his car accident. It was 2 years ago and a lot of the things she predicted came true. i really want to go back to her but she charges like £50 now. |

| | psychics cannot help you through mental issues (i only say this because im lacking a better word atm, dont think im calling you crazy )
they might be able to point out the source of your problem but its up to you to work through it.
ive had many psychics readings as well as given many (i really only read tarot, im too lazy to tune in fully to do a hands free reading) and they can always point out the source of the problem but the solution is all you. good luck. |

by him being able to identify that, i was able to put together a lot of pieces from my childhood that have confused me and/or effected me since. it blew me away because this was not even on my radar. in hindsight, i see that there were so many ways this kept returning to my life for me to examine, but i never thought to look deeper.
he also said for being 28, i was one of the most numb people he has ever read for. which really, really freaks me out. |

| | | to the person that said they aren't supposed to say stuff like that, i actually thought so as well. in fact, i think when i came out of it i was in a weird state and kind of pissed. i started to question his reputation and think maybe he was a quack. how could this man say these things to me? how could he say them if they weren't true? i actually went googling in attempt to "prove him wrong" and give myself peace of mind, but what i found ended up proving him more right than i ever expected. and it was there all along, all i had to do was look for it.
i have been tormenting myself with regards to his professional ethics, although i knew he was a very, very respected psychic with over 40 years doing hundreds of thousands of readings and could not wrap my head around how he could accomplish this and be a liar or reveal things that should not be revealed. so i've thought about this a lot and determined that i would not have been handed this were it not something that would lead to positive growth and healing for me. i also reluctantly told my therapist about this and not only did she know of him and think highly of his work, but she confirmed that he would not have told me that lightly.
it's tough and it comes at a time when i was dealing with what i deemed to be more pressing issues (love & career), but suddenly those have all become quite trivial and it's clear those other things aren't working becuase i need to work through this.
the universe just amazes me sometimes.

| | | yes I have. It was free though, I wouldn't have paid for it. She was able to tell me about my past remarkably well but nothing about my future has come true yet. My life's not over yet so I won't rule out the possibility that it still might.

Her level of intuitiveness is outstanding and it isn't just random generalisations: www.psychicsally.com

| | | Most of that shit is hogwash, but there are a few genuine ones out there. Mom always said go to the ones that go by "word of mouth." and recommendations cause there are alot of cold readers out there......
I REALLY REALLY want to go to one, though good ones charge 50 here. My sister went to one that's a bit far away and said she was amazing.
I remember this one woman's story from here. She went to a fortune teller and as soon as the session started the fortune teller got visibley upset, then she got extremely angry and shouted at the woman to get out get out!! The woman, shaken left and went home. She told one of her friends what happened and she didnt know why she reacted like that. The next day that woman died in a car accident. I suppose the teller never came across someone who "didnt have a future beyond tomorrow." and it probably scared her and she probably didnt know herself what was really gonna happen, just something really bad... |

| | | I've had a fairly accurate reading once or twice before but it was nothing earth shattering. My sister went with a group from work to a reader who was supposed to be excellent and was casually informed our mother would die within five years. Seeing as though he hadn't been psychic enough to know my mother was ill in the first place (my sister had to tell him) I doubt he was for real. He had my sister and another woman in hysterics, he had told the other woman her sister was going to become sick and she had around two years left.

| | | I used to go to a really good one on a regular basis awhile back. I had had so many years of therapy and I was done with it but still needed some stuff taken care of and I know it sounds wierd, but this psychic that I worked with did the job! It was like years of therapy was done in a few months with her.
I also learned a lot about metaphysical stuff. It was a very cool experience, but you do need to keep an open mind and be ready to hear some things about you or about what others think of you that you might not like.
