dairy products and dreaming

ok, so last week my dad told me that if you eat dairy products before you go to bed you'll have weird dreams. i shouldnt have beleived him coz he walks around all day in a daze saying "nambi pambi" so he's obviously nuts but i digress.
it must have been on my mind that i would have wierd dreams coz i ate cheese and then that night i dreamt that i was thowing up teeth and lara flynn boyle was catching them in a hat.
can someone do me a favour and eat some cheese then let me know if you have weird dreams? or any dairy product of your choice
thanks

nothing but a myth.

The origins of the cheese gives you nightmares’ myth are inconclusive. Some believe that it may have originated from Dickens’ Ebenezer Scrooge, who blamed “a crumb of cheese” on his night-time visitations; others people believe that its origins may lie with a Fifties’ health scare when cheese was found to be problematic for people taking a certain anti-depressant.
there's actually been studies done on this!

your bad dream was just coincidence.

the fact that your father told you this and you didn't immediately recognize it as myth probably played a role in your subsequent nightmare too.

rubyrose is on a distinguished road
i like cheese and ive never had a bad dream after eating pre sleeping cheese and jatz. but my dad is just as insane, he often when he cant think of the right word will say what ever pops into his head eg fish oil, goats cheese these are two common ones. my mum once told me he does this because his job is stressful but i think it is the lack of dairy intake because since his heart attack he doesnt eat it and drinks only soy milk (YUCKKY!).
i wish i could have seen you throwing up teeth and lara catching them in a hat i think that would make for a great "celebrity circus" act

The other week my friend tested this theory (we students clearly have too much free time on our hands). He ate shitloads of cheese right before he went to sleep, and he claims to have had the most fucked-up dreams he's ever had.
Not that this one case proves anything, just thought I'd throw it into the discussion.
