what're you giving up for lent?

i think lent is 46 days this year, starting today.

i'm giving up fried foods and meat.
which is suprisingly, alot of things. i'm currently starving, and wanted to eat some Ramen noodles, but alas -- those noodles are fried first (who knew?). then i thought, i'd roll down to the taqueria, but everything there is fried... and then i figured i'd just get a sandwich, but i can't have crisps.
boo.

what're you doing to commemorate the death of Christ?
or maybe you just partiicpate in lent because it's trendy, i don't know.
