Tell me your views on Tarot and whether you think it is accurate in predicting the future...

yes i do.
however i think it is very important with any reading, to take what you want from the session, and disregard whatever you don't feel comfortable with.
if you know what i mean.

I think it does. Just not specific things like "you will meet a man named Bob on Wednesday 17th and live happily ever after".

Tarot might work but often people don't know the powers that you are messing with. If you resign yourself to 'nature' and worship nature as opposed to the one supreme creator than you are resigning yourself to having your fate controleld by the laws of nature. Those who reach above nature to the ultimate one being may place themselves above those natural laws which govern animals. We as humans have a higher intellect which allows us to recognize the source of all life which is G-d. If a person recognizes this source and trusts in this source than the laws of nature may fall away.

We as Jewish people believe that things like Tarot work but we aren't supposed to use them because that is only going so far. Yes, the stars have power but what is above the stars? What created those stars?

If you tap into the wrong power, a power that is out of your control and that you don't know is good or bad, truth or falsehood than you resign yourself to that fate. You might be given 'a prophecy' with Tarot and because you believe in it, it can become a self-fullfilling prophecy. Also, if something comes true in Tarot, it doesn't mean it was true to begin with. You could have been the cause of those events, and your life could have been altered by putting your trust in that. Often something that might seem good to you at the time, might prove to be not good later. It is best to trust in the ultimate good, the ultimate creator and not go to lower levels of power because you resign yourself to the power of nature, you resign yourself to something that might not be the best choice for you or the ultimate truth and because of this your energy might be tainted and you might bring bad things down whereas if you connected to the ultimate creator, the ultimate source of good, you would get truth above the illusions of this world. The stars have power but they only have power because an untilmate creator gave them power. When you liberate the sparks in G-d's creation and realize that the sun and moon and science are all part of G-d and a larger plan than it's good. But if you go to the generals, the lieutenants, those putten in charge when you should really talk directly to the commander of this world, you put yourself in danger.

i used to get my cards, and palms, read.

i had bad luck after every reading.

as some one who actually reads tarot i'd have to say ya.

these kind of things shouldn't be fucked with while drinking or using any mind altering substance. either by the reader or the one being read. it leaves you wide open to groovy spirit.

I don't think Tarot has any "power". The power in it is humanmind-made, meaning how you interpret it for it to make it seemingly applicable to whatever is going on in your life. You can create symbols from many mundane things in life, so of course tarot cards too would seem symbolic. if anything, it would help some people get in touch with and listen to their intuition a bit more; that is the only help of Tarot I personally can see ;otherwise if you think it has some power on its own whatsoever, then I would disagree. Neither the cards nor its reader has any special power. It is the same way i feel about Astrology. For the simple fact that it is mostly bullshit and random, but it is always tempting when a horoscope or a reading rings true or relatable to our lives that we tend to believe it has "power". Like religion, it has a lure to people to have "faith" in something that is supposedly higher and bigger than them. I believe in neither tarot nor astrology, but I see how it can help some people to realize some things about themselves or their lives, but not because of a "revelation" by stars or cards.

Quite simply no. I think it's a load of bollocks that preys of vulnerable minds, desperate for meaning in life.
