Hm, well, I've been studying it lately and I'll try to explain what I know so far as best as I can...

Only numbers 1 through 9 are used for analysis except for if the equation of the numbers in your birthdate or the letters in your name add up to 2 from 1+1 or 4 from 2+2 (as opposed to 2+0 or 3+1, etc.) in which case 11 and 22 are used and are considered to be "master numbers," or the strengths of numbers 2 and 4 emphasized.

You would calculate your lifepath number by adding 8 and 3 to 8 (1+9+8+8=26, which would be reduced to 2+6=8) which would be 19 reduced to 1. (1+9=10, 1+0=1)

I was planning to use numerology in a book I've been planning for about five years, but to kinda do it in reverse, so that the characters' personality dictates their birthday, rather than the other way round. I don't know if I can be bothered though. I'm getting more interested in this stuff since I read up on astrology; even though I don't believe in mysticism it's kinda interesting how well it all syncs up. Like my ruling planet, my star sign, and now my lifepath number all refer primarily to communication, which as an aspiring musician and writer is pretty much all I've ever wanted to do. My name comes from the Olympian spirit of Mercury.

I think it would be absolutely fantastic to get a birthdate analysed by numerology to be meaningless in every way. Like. You go online, punch your shit in, "I'm sorry, you're life means nothing at all and your input into society will never equate to anything significant. Your romance life will lack much sex and human contact, you are possibly missing a limb, and your sense of humour is enviable only by scorpions and cacti. And expect the DMV to harass you monthly. Other people who share your birthday are... Monica Lewinsky, Art Garfunkel, Ray Jay Johnson."

well i don't know. that's a bit like me but the rest of it was completely wrong. at first i thought i'd added it up incorrectly but even when i added the time of my birth i was STILL a six. maybe that site just sucks.

i find that astrology is much more accurate anyway.

well my birthdate is 11-02-1980 if anyone was curious.its all souls day in mexico.so 11 plus 2 is 13 -1 pus 3 is 4 and 1 plus 9 plus 8 is 18 and 18 plus zero is 0 is 18 and 18 plus 4 is 22.
