| | | ghosts stories/ghoststudy.com I'm watching ghost hunters on scifi which made me remember ghoststudy.com. I love this website.
Anyway this thread is not so much about the site, but about your personal ghost stories. I know there was a thread on here awhile ago. So i'm bringing it back.
I like to be scared. And in the sake of halloween, tell me your stories!
A story from me.
I don't have the pictures on my computer anymore but a friend of mine brought her 2 year old son over to play. He's adorable so I was taking pictures. He was playing with my dogs and running around the house. In every single picture there were "orbs" surrounding him. His grandmother died a few months before. I just thought it was strange that in every photo, all different positions these orbs were by him. |

| | I'm going to St. Augustine FL in Nov. We plan on taking a ghost tour. My mom and dad have been on it before and they said it was more funny than anything. Right now on Ghost Hunters, they're investigating the St. Augustine Lighthouse. I'm definately going there. I'm doing some research and found this.
St. Augustine Lighthouse
Location: St. Augustine, Florida.
When Built: 1824; 1874.
The Haunting: Several ghosts are said to haunt this lighthouse. The voice of the 12-year-old daughter of the lighthouse's builder, who drowned near the building, can sometimes be heard. Footsteps from some unseen presence can be heard shuffling on the gravel and on the steps outside the lighthouse. A large, dark male figure has been seen in the basement, possibly the spirit of a former caretaker who hung himself in the lighthouse.
219 steps to the top. |

| | | I wanted to stay in a haunted hotel when we go. But I checked prices and it'll be $810 for 4 days. Ugh.
Haunted Hotel - Casa de la Paz Bayfront in St. Augustine, Florida
From Charlyn Keating Chisholm,
Your Guide to Hotels / Resorts / Inns.
The Bottom Line: The ghost in this hotel is the spirit of a young woman who stayed here with her husband on their honeymoon. On the last day of their trip, he went out on a fishing expedition. His boat capsized in a storm, and the young man drowned. The woman could not accept his death, and died of grief.
The Haunting: She has been seen at the top of the stairs, standing next to a suitcase. Guests in the hotel have reported hearing a knock at the door and a voice asking, "Is it time to leave yet?" People have reported the feeling that someone is standing behind you, or a cold breeze in the hallway. |

| | legend of the mothman?
“The Legend of the Mothman” explores the strange disturbances, odd sightings, bizarre occurrences and strange eye witness reports connected to a creature known as the Mothman, first sighted in the Point Pleasant, West Virginia area in the sixties. Strangely, the sightings and disturbances seemed to reach a peak with several area residents sharing the same nightmare of a river disaster. On December 15, 1967, the Silver Bridge spanning the Ohio River between Point Pleasant and Gallipolis, Ohio collapsed into the frigid water, sending 46 people to their deaths. Many of those who lost their lives had reported (at one time) seeing the Mothman. Perhaps most disturbing, there were no reported sightings after the bridge accident. Note: photos were sent from a separate source. |

The travel channel has the best haunting stories definately.
I would book the haunted hotel but I probably wouldn't be able to sleep at all. |

| | They went to Arizona to an old 1800's showhouse where cowboys went and dancers and all that.
The EVP picked up was when (I forget who) was talking, and you can hear 4 notes of ragtime music kind of separated. I thought I was gunna puke. Hahaha.
Then a wire flew off the wall, but when they tried to debunk it they couldnt.
They caught it on camera and it floated upwards and was tossed to the right..like far.
JAY AND GRANT SAW A FULL BODY APPARITION but not on film.
And to prove they saw it, they didnt say anything to each other and individually told Steve, and they both said the same thing as the other.
