Reading some threads on a skeptical message board I found out about Dawkins TV program. No surprise that I would find myself agreeing with him totally.

A remarkable program. Parts 1 & 2 are 18 and 16 minutes long respectively. The others are either 6 minutes or 9 minutes long.

Yeah Faga its different. Dawkins is highly critical of religion and he pretty much thinks religion is bad news for all of us.

Dakwins is an awesome man. Ive recomended that program on the board before. I can also reccomend his books. "The selfish gene"; great stuff.

i obviously recognise the UNNOTSEEABLE "negative influence it has
and its obviously at least used as part that whole grouping of ideas to suppress human thawngtential
but
i dunno if it was designed for good or bad" sotospeak
someone on here told me about an old scifi novel about how aliens designed religion for humans in an attempt to try to nurture their "good side
(sorry for the black and white terms here)
but man made it icky and then aliens wrote them off as hopelessly violent
but
i also lean towards the idea it was created from the start as a divisionary diversion(scientology stylee)
or perhaps an alien youths prank that got out of hand

but at the same time most so called "morality stems from a religious standpoint
your precious civilization"
which can be argued wether thats positive or negative

and if it gives someone the hope they need to make it through each day it cant be all bad (mommy

that can be argued if you think surviving (especially nowadays) is a positive thing
