Neither. It depends on what you're looking for really. I wasn't looking for anything and got this man/boy who's just perfect for me.

I think expectations in itself are wrong. Both you and the person you're projecting on will be hurt by them. Okay, there are certain things one might expect from a partner, like faithfulness, a certain amount of attention and agreement on how you organise your lives together (what I mean is, who does the chores etc.). Otherwise, it's best to receive everything your partner has to give gracefully and if you don't enjoy it, move on.
