If you can't see that, basically a forum on a gay website ran a poll on how people would vote if an election was called right now. The results?:

Conservative: 37%
Labour: 30%
Lib Dem: 15%
Green: 3%
BNP: 13%
UKIP: 2%

Just to clarify: this would be shitty as a result if they asked anyone. But this is a group who have been victimised as a minority for decades!

What the fuck is wrong with gay people? I mean, I see skinhead porn and crap like that and I put it down to sad but harmless fetishism, but is it worse than that? Are we so pussy-whipped by straight culture that we're fetishising dumb, racist fuckism purely to avoid looking like pansies?

Gay people can be dissatisfied with Gordon Brown too, Ophie. Don't discriminate.

It's the BNP thing I'm talking about. The Conservatives are probably going to win and I'm surprised they don't have a bigger majority, but the fucking BNP?

OK, I get that it's probably largely a vote for political apathy made by people who are dumb enough to think that because the main parties are as bad as each other, the fringe parties are only that bad as well. Someone with no interest in politics could easily come to that view, and thankfully, they probably won't even know what year the election's in. But it's still depressing that anyone, let alone homos, is considering voting BNP.
