| | | nah i have a good friend who is, and its just started uni holidays so we want books. and i told him here might be a good place to ask as he dosent really have a good reference point.
BUT im not risking him joining because i say things here that are uncharacteristic of me irl and itd be akward. although i dont really mind. ill probs let him see anyway. he's very good.

| | | Hmm, why don't you have a boxset night and get Queer As Folk? QAF is fun. Is your friend unsure if he is gay? |

| | | oh cool, i will tell him about that one
he know's for sure that he is gay, i think he is just interested to see how people have dealt with it etc. he's very literary and he is studying law, has high aspirations etc. so you know, successful older men are probably what he is looking for.
the thing is, i don't think he's struggling with it that much at all, plenty of his friends are (very) straight males and all of them have accepted him, i think he just wants some examples stories etc of how it has affected people?

goodbye to all that by robert graves covers a gay public school romance, but it's mostly known for its gruesome account of ww1. anyway it's a fantastic book. a liars autobiography by graham chapman is mixed, i loved it once but the humour may grate.
