If you're a lesbian and you get married are you both Mrs. and Mrs. or do you stay Miss?
I had a woman on the phone today who gave her wife's details as Mrs. so and so. I just want to know if that's what happens or this person was a man with a very feminine voice.
Thanks
In the rep. of Ireland (if your calls are exclusively national) same sex marriage is illegal and not recognised so. You'd be surprised, I knew a few lads with voices that would put women to shame they were so effiminate. But if you are dealing with other countries, the chance is alot higher that you were dealing with two Mrs.

oh no I'm living in Glasgow so this was an English person I think, they had an Asian name though. So do they call themselves missus? Or is that just a man and wife thing? What do you think? What's the origin of the mrs. thing changing your name is it not about changing your surname and becoming the mans property? Which surname do the lesbians take? Is it that there is always one lesbian who wears the suit and the other wears the dress and the one in the suit gets to be the surname keeper? I'm sorry if this is all ignorant I really don't know how it works. I've seen a lesbian wedding but it was just the girls first names on the announcement thing.
