| | | Aren't any of you embarrassed by the cliches? Because I am highly embarrassed of the crappy cliches that come with being a girl that likes girls. I just ranted about it on my myspace, so I'll spare you the aggression, but I want to know if you actively try to be the cliche, or be yourself.
Answer... now! |

| | | There's a difference between a person who's cliche, and swears they are not, and a person who's cliche but is being at least a LITTLE bit tongue-in-cheek about it. Intelligence does make a huge difference. But yeah, unless they're self-aware, cliches do embarrass me. |

Because.
While I'm nothing like what should be expected, I do like to play it up for certain people in certain situations. |

| | | Well, yeah. That's human nature, to play to an audience....and much like ridiculousness, if you look for the cliche in anything, you're bound to find it. I think it all comes down to humility.....realize that you are different just like everyone else, and that someone somewhere, for whatever reason, is going to find the cliche in you. So learn to like it, learn to embrace it, and make it your own. And for god's sake, make it fun....cause if you're not having fun, what's the point? |

| | | Okay, well I just read this about 8 times and it still seems to me that you're telling me to BE the cliche?
Um, fuck that.
Also, it's not hard to find the cliche when almost every gay person lives it. |

| | | Well, I wasn't necessarily just talking about sexual preference.....cliche can apply to anything. I guess I was generalizing, and for that I apologize.
Also, I'm not saying you should be cliche, I'm saying that, personally, hyperbole is one of my favorite forms of rhetoric, and cliches are the easiest targets. So I was sort of condoning that, really.
It should also be noted that in a lot of ways it is a defense mechanism for me. So....do with that what you will.... |

| | | Cliches shouldn't be embarassing if you can break free of them.
I find them frustrating more than anything. I'm bisexual, so OF COURSE I'm that slutty girl at the party hooking up with girls just to get guys.
No.

No. | bi girls are just drunk whores, or too afraid of being a true lesbian.
that usually gets the bi girls to make out with me. |

Well, I've got the drinking and whoring down.
As for the original topic, cliches bug the shit out of me. I am who I am, and see no need to alter my personality for anyone. Like someone asking me, 'So who plays the 'guy' in your relationship?'
So the answer is...cliches are bullshit. |

Everybody bleeds, everybody dies.

I'm gonna go wallow in self pity because I'm different, just like everyone else. Seems I like the puppet master only when center string is pulled. |
