So i'd never heard of this show before last week when I saw Lena Dunham interviewed by Colbert, and I thought she was pretty adorable and completely not the kind of girl we've been seeing on tv lately. And then I was at a party, and my friend said he was watching Girls and liked it even though he was sad that Sex and the City is a generation older than us and Girls is younger. So I thought I'd give it a try? I like it. Not sure I'll stick to it forever, but so far I think it's good fun. I don't find Hannah irritating- she's pretty realistic and no more irritating than people I meet in real life. I'm just glad I'm not 24 anymore. Good stuff.

Me? I wasn't really responding to anyone in particular. Just putting out a general "i like this show" reply. Earlier in the thread people were talking about Hannah being annoying, which is why I brought that up. But, yeah, Brian William's daughter is the worst of the 4. But I have met a lot of girls like her. The character is pretty realistic. I think she'll improve. Maybe now that the bf will probably be gone.

episodes 3 and 4 were definitely better. this is my new guilty pleasure.
