UGH I miss Buffy sooooo much. I loved it ever since it started when i was like 9 or 10 or whatever I was. Season 1 is my favourite, and the season when Faith first joined, 3 or 4 I think. I onlt have season 1 on DVD, but I want them all lol. A few of the middle seasons annoyed me abit, too much talking and too little vampire killing! But yes, Buffy love <3

it went downhill after season 3. it got a little better after spike and buffy got together, but stuff like Glory and the initiative..they were so lagging and boring.

it really should've ended when angel left though. 4 wasnt too bad in the starting episodes, but my god riley was so stupid...

i was a HUGE buffy fan, my life revolved around it. taped every episode watched them daily, read all the books, knew all the good websites, member of all the good message boards, member of the official fan club, room was decked in posters and "action figures".....it was bad..

now i cant stand watching them

smallville actually is better hahahahha

The last two seasons were a bit annoying cos there werent enough vamps in them, and had the "trio" instead which i found really boring and too many of those cheesy speeches!! Though i loved Andrew in season 7 when hes on their side

hehe yeah, Riley was a big mistake too, his character was so boring, and acted really badly. Thankgod Willow was there to make it all better

Buffy was fantasticaly cheesy, i loved it. Wish I'd watched more of it though.

Joss Whedon is a genius, he made the X-Men so much more interesting, he sexed it up!

God, my favorite show ever.

Seasons 1 - 3 are beyond awesome; 4 was pretty good; 5 eh. I prefer to believe that the show ended with Buffy leaping off the tower.

Oz = love.

Smallville?! Meh. It always seemed painfully cheesy to me, not in the good way like Buffy was.

I loved Buffy. Although I thought it went steadily downhill after the third season. There were still some good episodes (the 'stunt' episodes, like the musical and Joyce's death were all quite good I thought), but it really seemed like they lost track of who the characters were. Willow had power abuse (even when it was just the power of superior intelligence) and carelessness (Ice-into-fire on the bedspread, little miss genius?) issues from the beginning, but that magic-is-crack thing just came out of nowhere and made no sense. I was also interesting in exploring the idea of falling into the trap of thinking that because you are the good guys, whatever you want automatically must then be good, which was what I saw actually happening, so Willow's arc was a real disapointment to me.

Those first couple of seasons were some of the best tv ever, in my opinion.

Cleetus will become famous soon enough
Did anyone else think Mrs. Summers was a dyke after the second episode of the third season?
When Buffy returns home and Joyce introduces her to her friend? Who later puts on that mask, turns evil and gets killed. It was weird. I always got the impression Buffy caught them right after some heavy clitoral tongue-bathing. Mrs. Summers could do a lot better by the way. I hate that straw haired character actor bitch who played her friend. And she pops up all over TV, usually playing the fish favoring marriage counsillor on sitcoms.

The later seasons (4 onwards) would have been better if Willow and Xander both died. Buffy, Spike, Anya and Giles made the show. Everybody else just took up space.
Everybody hates Riley, but he was no more painful to watch than Xander in my opinion. Fucking goof.

Faith returned all fucked up in season 7. I hated her ghetto-ness. Did she pick that up in prison?
Also, in season three, Faith refers to Willow & Xander as "a hoot and a half". What the fuck? If she's so bad ass, would she really EVER say anything that lame?

They should have cancelled Buffy after she died at the end of season 5 and made the Spike, Anya and Andrew show. Like gender reversed Three's Company with Giles as Mr. Roper.

i have the 7 season box set. i got it in january, and have already watched every episode twice.

basically i love every season except season 4. the whole initiatve/riley/professor walsh/adam thing gets on my nerves. but unlike everyone else, i think i actually prefer seasons 5,6,7. i fucking love season 5. well, except for dawn. i just love knowing that basically everything in the show through the first few seasons was leading up to the point where buffy leaps to her death.

i love that this show managed to do episodes like "once more with feeling" "hush" "the body" and "conversations with dead people" and not look completely stupid while doing it. once more with feeling = my most favourite episode of any tv show, EVER.

and i agreew with whoever said they loved andrew is season 7. he was just hilarious.

'the body' is my favorite episode. It's just like whoa....the silent episode and the musical are excellent to but the body just took it to another level for me.

i don't think i can watch the body again. it disturbs me a little too much. the fact that there's no background music, combined with willow freaking out over what colour is more appropriate to wear to the morgue, combined again with anya and her "joyce will never drink fruit punch or brush her hair again" moment... it's just too depressing.
