i think that there have been a whole spate of these kind of ironical poking finger at american society and youth culture things lately... probably all caused by the donnie darko sensatoin

i mean i appreciate them for what they are but i refuse to get all giddy over them

i cant get excited over their ideas...they're basically all the same

i do love little bits of their humour.

if i admit to finding dean (jamie bell - who incidentally is the name of a girl i used to go to highschool with - what a priss) sexual, will i get arrested? he is quite young.

Funny thing is that Donnie Darko wasn't really sociopolitical.

Thumbsucker is the best of these, for me.

thumbsucker is a really good film,

donnie darko never really appealed to me much

oh i hated thumbsucker. that one was SO selfinvolved i wanted to shoot MYSELF

That... was the point.
It's about being a teenager. I've rarely met a teen who doesn't think mostly of only themselves.
