I think Styar being an ex DA has alot of crediblity and liked her alot. Elisabeth is still there though and sure full time host Rosie and part time cohost Courtney would give her a run for her money. Elisabeth is like a puppet, I think she gets fed stuff thru her earpiece that she really doesnt want to say but has to pander to the conservative republican viewers and younger viewers. Its like she is hooking herself out for Jesus instead of being true to herself and inner beliefs. I love the way Babs, like Larry King is agnostic and Joy is so open minded and loves the way she talks and figets. She is a working mans Bette Midler. Bette will put out a power ballad and a movie every decade and thats about it. Joy Behar really carries that show and sure that if they throw Rosie into the mix its going to make America more enlightened to how we should be evolving (being open minded about things)
Anyways I really hope they have Courtney cohost a few times next season. I think she would do great walking out in a designer outfit waving with cue cards in hand while the theme music is blaring on her way to her seat. I really hope ABC approaches her or we rally around and let ABC and Courtney know if she could do The View as a cohost a few times. I think it would put her in a new realm and even if it only two or three times next season it could lead to something better. Look what happened to Rikki Lake. Lets let ABC know Courtney should guest host The View. BTW why does hole.com take me here? | hell no! cl+ barbara walters =death |

| | | ABC and Courtney ABC was one of the few people who supported Courtney during Americas Sweetheart album by allowing her on The View to promote album, the only daytime tv show I think.
Also in some books it has been said Courtney has a deep respect for Barbara Walters so I am sure she wont act "cracky" like above poster stated just as Rosie Odonnell will walk out looking like a lesbian with a spikey and dikey hairdo when she debuts September 5th.
I think it would be a good pr move to have her cohost with new hosts a few times next year. I think she would do great. Hve some faith people. |

| | | Yet another update The View Wars: Starzilla Takes It To The Streets
Star Jones is set to make her first public appearance tonight, Wednesday evening, on Larry King after announcing that she was fired from The View and subsequently told not to return to work today.
Remember, Star, Jesus would not want you to talk trash.
But we do!!!

| | | I wish Perez would stop trying to be Intercool for one god damned day. The bunch of fucking losers.
That's the problem with entertainment reporters: They're a novelty act and they think it's deadly serious. You're telling us things like about the queen of England being assprompted by aliens and then impregnated. What the fuck? And, yes, that actually WAS printed once. I wish they could admit they have no life.

| | | I think they should have Kate Bush yelping and dancing in a spiky, electric leotard on all of their laps for half and hour a show while they try to argue about diets and "going downtown."

| | | She's going to be on Larry King Live tonight (Wednesday) talking about it. I was watching The View today just for a few moments as I was leaving for work but I cant stand Hasselskank for long. Tomorrow I will definitely tune in. |

| | | I had one of those lucky random tv moments today. I woke up really early and I was still tired and miserable so I went back to sleep later. Well, I happened to wake up right when "The View" was just starting. I never watch this show, but it happened to be on right when I woke up.
Low and behold, Barbara Walters is there by herself, no music, no shrieking hags in the audience like usual. It was very somber. She starts discussing the events pertaining to Star Jones and her announcement yesterday, and how they all knew for months that Star's contract wasn't being renewed and when Star chose to make her announcement yesterday, they all backed her up and "acted" the way they thought would be appropriate. But Star couldn't keep that piehole shut, ohhh no. So, Star wasn't coming back....ever! unless it was a rerun.
...and that was the end of Star Jones.
I found it sort of disturbing how Barbara acted so surprised and concerned yesterday about Star leaving when she had in essence "fired" her months ago. Show biz is a brutal business, but I guess Star treated others like total shit or that's what they say, so karma's a bitch I suppose. |
