For fucks sake, stop making remakes and make some originals >_> such a waste of time. The Witches rocks, scarred me for life as a child. The Omen remake sucked too.

Maybe the remake is to encompass this adultness?
However come to think of it the remake of Snow White was shite. so no, giving a classic childrens tale and 'adult' theme doesn't work.

i don't understand why these kids can't just watch the old ones. when i was at college doing film studies i was oldest in the class (by 2 years) and i was the only one would had seen a b/w movie. i was given permission by my teacher to force them to watch one (pyscho) and they loved it afterwards, but before they didnt want to see it just because it wasnt in colour

the birds i was just watching and i though about how they could remake it and have it be almost as good the original, but it'll never happen that way. they'll use all cgi and it'll look awful. cgi is so lame, it was cool when it first started but c'mon guys.

I was just watching the underworld 2 dvd and they used very little cgi and said movies now are just using it because its easy. and its true.

*A Tale of Two Sisters- never heard of it
*I Saw What You Did- um why?
*Last House On The Left- They could do it better, but i was never a fan of the original
*Night Of The Living Dead 3D-did we go back to 1989?...
*Battle Royale- ok...
*Terror Train- i see valentine on a train...
*The Witches- it wont get greenlit no one wants to see it
*Evil Dead- is sam is on board, it could be good
*Don't Look Now- it'll suck like the omen
*Suspiria-id like to see it but itd lose some of its argento greatness
*The Blob- eh
*Creature From The Black Lagoon-..eh
*Scanners.......eh
*Day Of The Dead-.......eh

we just need revival houses again. I think if we had those and had midnight movies brought back, it'd cut these remakes in half atleast.

i really don't know why more people don't start doing this. i would go.

as for the remakes, it's starting to get ridiculous. you can't touch "last house on the left". it needs to be grainy and seventies. "terror train" was terrible the first time around, so why do it again? "suspiria", "the evil dead", and "day of the dead" are perfect as they are.

The ORIGINAL was damned hysterical! Especially Rowan Atkinson and Bruno Jenkins' father, lol! Angelica Huston was brilliant in that film!

just outta curiosity, about the Nightmare series... Wikipedia posted this about it...

"Completing His Other Trilogy
Though there have been 7 different NOES films (8 counting the crossover Freddy vs Jason), only 2 have been directed by Wes himself. Wes has stated several times in interviews & discussions that he only considers his 2 films to be true accurate depictions of his creation. For years it has been rumored that Wes would make one more film, essentially completing his other trilogy. Speculation as to what kind of NOES film Wes would make next have varied, from a prequel that would take place before the events in the 1st film, to a direct sequel to 1994's New Nightmare, to rumors that Wes may even take control and direct the next "Freddy vs......" film."

so... is there gonna be ANOTHER sequel!!!???
