Of course Beyonce doesn't have a reason for using/wearing fur, other than the fact that she likes it for whatever horrible reason. Asking her to explain herself solves nothing, evidently. They really ought to stick to what they're better at, which is producing literature and media explaining - in a non-hysterical fashion - what is wrong with the fur trade. Doing this to Beyonce does nothing but get their names in the press, at the expense of someone who was basically deceived.
Not impressive in the slightest. I've never been a huge fan of PETA, but they went down further in my estimation as a result of this.

This isn't gutter-level, really, compared to what shit other people pull off in other businesses. This is just penetration of the stars. A chance to tell her skanky ass to stop cutting up animals.
Fur trade WAS all right when the aboriginals did it because they used them for necessity, the animals were treated like gods, every part of them was used for something or rather, and they were killed humanely.
These people just take whatever fucking fur they can find from whoever.
Why not tell her to stop being a bitch this way?

they're never going to be taken seriously by the people who matter the most to them- those who wear fur- if they continue resorting to such immature, 5th grade level tactics. its a joke, their organization is only successful in preaching to the choir. their ridiculous strategies like this one only lower their stock amongst ppl who are on the fence about them, and even more with ppl who wear fur. extremists who act soley on emotion and give no intelligent, objective thought to their tactics never get anywhere.
