anyone watch this on HBO? i really like it, although i dont know why just yet. maybe its chloe sevigny, shes the reason i started watching it. i keep missing parts of the episodes though, and getting confused.

I've just passed through it when I was flipping through the stations, but I never paid any attention to it. But I like Chloe Sevigny, so I may check it out.

Bill Paxton is very studly, like wine he gets better with age.

I am liking it more each week. I never realized that Bill Paxton was pretty hot! Anyways, I like that it handles the whole subject in a pretty real manner, (not that I'd know what polygamy is like, but...) it's just more interesting when it's not over the top. I also love the Chloe storyline and how she can make a pretty unlikeable character seem vulnerable and multi-dimensional.

i love this and relished my week long on demand catch up after accidentally discovering this a few weeks ago.
last night seemed to magnify a few story holes for me though. i can understand they wanted to give her an opportunity to deny the allegations against her before disqualifying her, but did anyone think the whole interrupting the ceremony scene was overdramatized?
and the legal implications? there's the presence of a "drug czar" but i wonder how an actual arrest happens when they are all consentual and the other two are not legally married to him. i can't understand it outside of the scenario where one person is being deceitfull and legally(?offically)? marrying other people outside of the others knowledge. what is the legal criteria?
i loove it all the same.

I watch the show but I hate it at the same time. Parts of it disgust me, like the sexism. I hate how the wives, and anyone else is treated by the compound. I was hoping Margine would leave the family, it seems like that would make her happier.
