the funniest 30 seconds ever of family guy is the bit south park spoofed. I feel embarrassed for people that like it.

It's the exact same type of comedy really. I certainly don't think either are really any good, but I'd have trouble understanding how the ripoff/knockoff sitcom show is better than Family Guy.

I haven't been a fan of really any animated sitcoms. Except Beavis and ******** but it wasn't really a sitcom either, and it also played up to my interests of the time as a teen.

bevies and butt head si excellent.
mostly the writing seems better with American dad. you know if yu don't much like animated sitcoms, and didn't ever like family guy or any of those, than it would probably be like trying to describe the differences in various aspects of a popular music category, hip=hop, metal, etc to someone whom doesn't really like it.
i think most all shows run stale after a few years.
i enjoyed the office a lot the first three season, then lost interest in it.
the sopranos too, i think at fist was very good, but then it falls off. the last 20 episodes are pretty much superfluous.

south park was great for awhile, but it stoped being any good about five years ago.

south park is good sometimes. every now and then there will be an episode that's funny, but i agree at this point the show's become pretty disappointing.
