| | | Resident Evil for a typical actionthrillerhorrorzombie movie, i don't see where the problem is. and i've heard tons of people say it's the worst game-film adaption ever.
clearly these people have not seen House of the Dead?
anyone else like the movies? or at least find them decent?
and if you hated them, why? other than they didn't follow the game. that's pretty much a given. |

| | | I love how she has a chemical vent next to her head in the shower.
"Oh, what's that funny smells rotten shit coming out of... *erotic thud*"
Stupid bitch should've called the Rona home experts.

it annoyed me how the main characters dress and makeup looked perfect at the end. |

| | | I'm a huge fan of the game series. And i actually think the first Resident Evil film is excellent, its realy disturbing I think. The second film was really far-fetched and just not scary whatsoever, it was still entertaining hehe. |

| | | the second i felt tried to be action too hard. and all the fight scenes were too close up to know what was happening, but i still thought it was decent enough.
according to Milla, the third movie is based more on the script and dialogue instead of the action-y cheese we were fed through the second movie. |

| | | I liked the second much better except for *comic-book-store-guy-geek-alert* the fact that the zombies from the graveyard rise from beneath the ground, despite the fact that they could never have been infected by the T-virus. G-virus. I don't remember which it is. But I love the games. |

That was the question bitch, however, in the spirit of conversation:
I love them because they have hot guys and hot girls.
I love survival films, horror or not. The zombie or neo-zombie subgenre is a favourite.
Some interesting deaths, I like a good death scene.
Comic book (or video game if you prefer) styled storytelling and acting, some think pure cheese, i think fun.
Both films are extremely anti-establishment, I love that.
The 2nd one was as awesome as the first, had alot going on, pure action, old school monster movie face-offs, vigalantism, mass destruction and Mila was more kickass than ever.
Man they are action horror films and they deliver. Escapist entertainment they may be, but in a way they are still a more pro-active form of entertainment than say, the English Patient. |
