Anyone see this movie yet? some parts were very lame

but some just over did it for me

Ive seen it and I didnt really like it. I was told Taranteno (sp) made it so that sold it to me but I found it to be a bit too gross for me.

I am used to horror films and pulp fiction is my favourite film, but this was just yuck.

he was the executive producer, and said he wrote a few lines (i suspect the conversation with the american torturer, the one who says guns are too american and he's going to do it old-school, is the bit he wrote).

i wouldn't really call it his film at all. the advertisements did, but only because it was the best way to get people to see it

Coulda Been Better

It was so ok, it was mis-marketed definitely. It should of been more 'human traffiking expose' than gore-horr. The storyline was pretty entertaining.

The lead guy was pretty good eye candy

50% of it was a complete bore, the other half was pretty exciting I thought, great yet twisted concept, but could have been a lot better. Still entertained me

I saw it when it came out, and took too long to get to the action. I didn't like it.

I thought the concept was very clever. I saw it in the theatre and was surprised to discover that the first half is basically soft core porn. Nevertheless, I really liked the horror sequences, though I wish they would have been as gory as I’d expected them to be.

lol The part where the guy's cuffed to a chair, drilled etc & then the evil one cuts his achillies (sp?) heel tendon bits & releases him, so when he tries to run away his legs just tear & he falls forward with his feet still flat on the floor.

It was so slapstick.

I found it mildly amusing, in parts. If you want gore, watch 'Guinea Pig 4: Mermaid in the Manhole'.

ehh, it was okay. I'd seen trailers and thought with a concept like that (ie, people paying to torture and kill other people) it had the potential to be so much better, more edgy, and far more psychologically unnerving. I'm the biggest wuss ever and the only time I actually jumped throughout the whole film was at a bit that wasn't even meant to be scary (when the kids stole the guy's phone).

it was a piece of shit. the effects were really bad, and the screenplay was badly written. Eli Roth is one of the most pretentious director next to his butt buddy Terentino. i thought i would really like his work after seeing him on the 100 scariest movie moments because he seemed so into the art of horror and film making. nope. he has no clue what hes doing and his movies suck. i swear if he fucks up The Bad Seed i will be writing a VERY angry letter...


but anyway back to the "film". the Dialogue if you want to call it that, was something you'd hear in "babes gone wild: the feature film", the immaturity was filmed in such a way that it looked more like a POV handicam in Amsterdam.
