| | Horror Movie Remakes \ Black Christmas At the other thread I posted about what new Horror Remakes were coming out. And to answer someone's question if Borders has Black Christmas, YES! I had to order it but it took about 1 week for it to arrive. |

| | | lol it is but when u think about it for an oldie its not bad. My mom's friend was terrified when she saw it when it first came out. We just laughed cause it seemed too cheesey to be scary. I like it though. |

| | | by the way, I was reading about a dvd. I can't think o fthe name but its an old one & its not the Alfd Hitchcock movie, (although it could be) but its about 2 men who are on a trip with their wives & each agree to kill each other's wives. Thats all I can remember now about it; and for some reason i want to say it was made in the 80s. If anyone knows what it could be, please post it.
And The Hills Have Eyes.. soooo stupid. |

| | | I liked
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
The Hills Have Eyes
The Amityville Horror
all more than the originals.
And I would have liked When A Stranger Calls better if it would have had a better actress. I like her being stalked in the house the whole movie. Instead of just for five minutes and then it turning into a Columbo episode. |

| | | silent hill is a videogame
i dont really care for a lot of the remakes. they all kind of pale in comparison.
i think the people who wtch these remakes and enjoy them more than the originals..are lacking a deep appreciation for classic horror films, and the effects and how new they were, given what time frame it was made.
i mean ive come accross kids who go "the exorcist effects were so bad it wasnt realistc and the hair was so stupid they should remake that"................
i cant stand CGI full movies. they dont look real. the films made without any at all and without a bunch of tricky camera filters look more realistic.
thats one of the only reasons they remake them.
1)they have no ideas
2) they want to use CGI and unrealistic camera techniques just to show off and waste money
now with the hills have eyes....it wasnt that bad but the movie lost its point |

| | | I'm selling Black Christmas. I watched half of the movie & its kind of ... stupid. I bought it for 31.00 I know thats not cheap, but consider it ALOT of money down the toilet. If anyone wants the movie, I can sell it for something else... If someone really likes it that much.

thanks |

| | | The Omen remake will be released in June. I predict its one and only highlight will be Mia Farrow's portrayal of Mrs. Baylock. |

| | | Well the only movie with that kind of plot has got to be Hitch's and since there are no remakes of the original i would assume you got yourself lost there buddy... | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
