yey, another movie wherein the women are such psychotic assholes and the men are normal and dull as dishwater. still, the gay in me likes watching *****es claw each other, compete and get into catfights and this is actually the cutest kristen bell character since veronica mars. but the movie belongs to jamie lee curtis and sigourney weaver who are seasoned performers and jump into the water (literally) gamely.

i watched atlantic city starring a 34 year old susan sarandon. she was hot, as usual. film is compelling and sometimes fun.
i also watched going the distance. the rom com genre is kinda dying if these kinda movies are the ones being done. self suck jokes and passe pseudo indie dialogue and pacing. it feels so nineties only without parker posey. we have drew barrymore instead. not the ****ing same.
