i don't buy alyssa milano as a girl next door. everytime, i see her face, my mind goes to ****. my mind keeps yelling **** **** **** as i watch this mediocre rom com about boy meets girl who is short and blah blah. kind of boring.

gaytastic but kinda cheesy. i wonder if al pacino killed that gay neighbor. hmmmmmmmmmmm actually the weird ending was the best thing in this movie.

the oscar belongs to annette ****ing bening who is simply brilliant in this film. the film itself is problematic. it has your usual cinematic issues that comes with portraying a family but bening is perfect. her scene when she finds out the truth about her wife and the slow mo capture of her face, lines and all, and her realization is just uncomfortable. would have to be seen to be believed. loved her. movie, eh, lukewarm.
