The tennis scene and the ladedah. So adorable. I found Annie to be fantastic, very special. There is nothing extraordinary about her that'd make her stand out. She's just Annie and and...she wears ties given to her by Grammie Hall.

I thought she was brilliant in Sleeper as well. You should see that too, definitely.

Agreed. I love the part in Husbands and Wives, when Judy Davis is getting ready to go out on a date with a guy, but she keeps excusing herself to the back of his apartment to yell at her ex-husband. And then she returns from the back, trying to pull herself back together. The guy is like, "Are you sure that you want to go out?" and she's all like "Yeah, sure, let's go. I'm fine. I'm fine. I'M FINE." And then she excuses herself again and goes crazy at her boyfriend in the back, and so on. Funny ****.

Actually, talking to other people who enjoy his movies, this was the first in a really long time where i see them getting very excited about something he's done, talking about how this is his best work since Bullets Over Broadway - personally, i also enjoyed Melinda & Melinda and Sweet & Lowdown a lot.
I would definitley recommend "Radio Days", "Zelig", "The Purple Rose of Cairo" - i think some of his best work was done with Mia Farrow. And, of course, Take the Money and Run.

i think this is my favorite. the best cast (love max von sydow, dianne weist. best michael caine has ever been). the brain scan results. and it namechecks duck soup, the funniest film ever.
