| | hey, i just watched it id love that if i could get it, one of the best things about the film was the visual style anyway
i definitely like it more than i expected, although it was definitely very flashy and over the top even for tony scott. stylish and cool to look at, especially if you're a cinematography nerd (which i might possibly be verging on, ill let you know when all my social conversations become arguments over the exposure index of 100D vs 500T film stock and bleach bypass and HMIs.lol).
i think plain and simple, its a FUN movie, its great to see a young girl in that badass action role for once.i like keira, that doesnt hurt either. nothing terribly deep there, but regardless, i recommend
im fucking terrible at articulating critiques and such about film. i suck bad.lol |

| | A Firey, Independent Soul! I LOVED the Domino movie! Keira's role as Domino kicked ass! I like any movie where the woman is STRONG, strong-willed, firey, sassy, and doesn't follow the mainstream. Domino Harvey had the opportunity to live life on "Easy Street" with her inheritance, but, she chose to do what she wanted, which meant defying the "expectations" of society and paving her own road. While the real Domino's life was short-lived, she LIVED it; better to truly LIVE your life than be unhappy and exist for 100 years! Or, as Keira says in the movie, "I wanna have some FUN." |
