just watched the recently released dvd 'Stay'.
awesome movie.
5 stars from me.
the plot comes second to the stunning artistic delivery of almost every scene. it's probably best not to read up about it before you see it.  Quote: |

I wanted to see it because it has Ewan Mcgregor, Namoi Watts, Ryan Gosling, and I saw the previews and it looked like one of those cool psychological thrillers.
and the end result of how it all happened was just AWESOME. |

I'll pick it up next time. | same here. i only saw it because i was at someone's house this weekend and was entertaining myself with a dvd collection. i had heard about it, but i hadn't heard a lot of word-of-mouth on it so i just assumed it was going to be mediocre or worse. but it turned out to be really good. after i watched it, i was kind of amazed that people weren't talking about it, so i went to netflix to find out why. it seems like it's one of those movies that's either rated five stars or one star by viewers.
