just had to write a paper about Audition. the reason it has the rep it does it bc when it was screened at some film festival everyone started barfing and fainting and a slew of ambulances had to be called.

I don't think the Grey Gardens women were "crazy" really. But they were definitely eccentric and, despite what the filmmakers say, played to the cameras a bit. I think I've seen that doc about 30 times...
