The supermodel was blowing chunks in a corner of the VIP backstage area with Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie holding her hair back.

Earlier she had introduced the Primals to the thousands of fans at the Isle of Wight festival before watching their set from the side of the stage, swigging neat 35 per cent proof Jagermeister liqueur.

After they came off stage at 10pm, Bobby, Kate and some of their pals stocked up on more beers in the Strongbow tent before heading over to the amusement park.

This might be where Kate's problems started.

She and Bobby went on every single, stomach-churning ride. Our woozy spy says: "They went to watch the Foo Fighters at midnight when things went pear-shaped for Kate and she started chucking up.

"But around 1.30am she was back on form. She must have totally cleaned up as she looked fresh as a daisy," adds our mole.

"Bobby was giving her a piggyback into the Virgin Radio VIP tent when they were stopped by a bouncer who didn't recognise them. But she just giggled and told him: 'I've got all the wristbands in the world on - look.'"

Kate and her pals all arrived at the island aboard Duran Duran pal Simon Le Bon's yacht. After crashing there on Saturday night, the hungover gang made their way back to the mainland on Sunday afternoon.

it's a hell of an embarrassment to puke in a public place but what i find even more embarrassing is people reporting about it the next day. poor kate, they just won't leave her alone.

Kate is like the rock & roll supermodel. She would have made a great rock star if she became one and could write songs. Kind of embarassing when someone is reporting on you puking publicly. We've all had those days where we have drank too much and have ended up puking our guts out. I know I have.
