Just got back from seeing that.

Scary, scary, scary. No special effects but alot of stuff HAPPENS. So many times watching scary movies a part of my brain is wondering how-did-they-do-that. You never totally lose awareness that it's make believe. This didn't feel like a "movie." That it was so real added to the whole effect. The Boy said it was difficult to watch towards the end he was so scared.

It's only playing at one theater in Dallas at the moment. I hear they are doing a limited release for now so word of mouth creates lots of buzz before full release.

Only annoyance was the young girls in the audience who kept screaming

Definitely go see it.

It actually was just announced they're releasing it nationwide next week. I realllllly want to see this.

i missed the first half hour but i don't know the acting wasn't that great, and yes toward the end when it was more intense i did get scared, but it's totally overhyped man.

uh it's a fake fucking film.

and it's not scary at all.

these days really piss me off BECAUSE i want films that give me nightmares for real. i want to be literally scared shitless, but this rarely happens.

the tartan extreme asian films sometimes make me almost cack my pants and really do give me nightmares, but when i die i want to DIE OF HORROR. you know, like where people have this expression of TERROR frozen on their face when they die. i want that.

supernatural terror. that's what i want to die of.
