scary ass movie. it was alot better than i expected. pretty good actually.

i loved it and i think a lot of people shrugged it off as a rip off of the exorcist, making it a forgotten classic horror film. The films are completely different and beautifully done in different ways.

The way the courtroom scenes entertwine with the flashbacks it tricks you into a "what if this were you" feeling. so you dont sit there the whole time going "i wonder if that really happend, probably didnt, this movie is so overdone" like a certain haunting movie that recently came out.....

but yeah i cried during the whole movie...twice...lol

I really enjoyed it. Of the three psychological/horror films i've seen lately (the other 2 being The Hills Have Eyes and Hostel), this was the only one that really engaged and shocked me, whereas with the other two I pretty much just took the piss all the way through.

Why do we even have that lever?

Someone mentioned this film to me so I rented it, not knowing anything about it. OMG I watched it alone and I was terrified! Some of those images stayed with me for days and I couldn't get them out of my head. Mainly those ones when she was all contorted on the floor. I thought it was a pretty interesting film overall.

I really think they should have dropped the exorcism bit to avoid any comparisons. But I found this film really interesting, and felt especially bad for the priest.
