Return To Oz/Wizard Of Oz remake

I know, I know. This movie is old. But I thought there might be some fans considering how dark it is. I remember watching this when I was about five years old (I went through a Wizard Of Oz/Dorothy/Judy Garland thing as a child) and not being at all disturbed by this (I also saw The Exorcist at 8! Where were my fucking parents?! ) but now that I'm old enough to realize what was actually happening at the beginning it just disturbed the hell out of me, although I really loved it. It really is amazing, much better then that Garland musical crapfest (no offense Oz lovers...it just isn't my thing). And I've read they're remaking the Wizard Of Oz, and it's just going to be called Oz.

It sounds like a very interesting concept. I would go see it!

i realized about 2 months ago that everything i like or ever have liked is in some way related to wizard of oz, which i watched at least once daily from the ages of 3-5 .
and i mean the judy garland one.

i would be specific about it all but i dont know if you want your thread mucked up with the original oz movie stuff
