Explanation of Subtitles:
During a nightly cultural exchange over the internet late last year (2007), my Serbian friend Andrea (Mrakoslava) introduced me to this wonderfully dark and minimalistic horror film. This being a fondly remembered piece of her past, she quickly wrote English subtitles for the movie upon finding it again so that I could enjoy the film as well. Upon completion she had me watch the movie and go through her work to add a finer English touch. (Her English is very good, I only added adjectives in most cases.) I enjoyed it thoroughly and began to plan to release it to the rest of the world.
With the editing complete, the film was ready for a release, but I would not get a chance to do so until I had found and decided upon a good community to share this endeavor with. Hence, Mrakoslava and I believe Cinemageddon to be the best public/private tracker to release this Slavic gem on. We are aware of a pre-existing demand for Leptirica subtitles here and elsewhere on the internet and are pleased to present our work of love for this movie here.
So it is with great pleasure that I say "It's done! Enjoy!", as you are now the first viewers to be accompanied by detailed English language subtitles on your cinematic journey through this dark, mysterious Serb horror.
