No vampy film ever spoke to me the way The Lost Boys did. Though Kinski's awesome Nosferatu came close... but I think that made me want to be Kinski, rather than want to be a vampire.

Oops.

I forgot to mention Captain Kronos - Vampire Hunter and The Fearless Vampire Killers, both of which are a great deal of fun. I also bought tickets for a screening of Nosferatu October 26, complete with a live musical score.

Which lost boy did you most want to be? I wanted to be the one with dark hair.

They all looked like they belonged in Poison. The dark haired one later appeared on episodes of Sex in the City, so if you still want to be him, you gotta sex up Kim Cattrall.

AHAHAHHAAHAHHAHA
I'm just thinking of that part in Lost Boys after Edgar and Allen were attacked by the remaining vampire with long blonde hair (there were two, but one got killed in his sleep in their cave) in the bathroom and Nanook jumps on it and pushes it into the bathtub full of holy water, killing it, and then Edgar says (or was it Allen? I mean Corey Feldman) "We got the one that looks like Twisted Sister" I always DIE over that line

I'd also like to say that my favourite Lost Boy is the one "that looks like Twisted Sister." He's totally the hottest. His hair is the best and he always says really stupid jokes and laughs at everything.

Michael is probably the most fuck-able though. But he doesn't really count as one of them, does he? Star's really sexy too.

The first to die in the cave is played by Alex Winter, otherwise known as Bill from Bill & Ted. I have an on-going crush on him, as he's been in a variety of great 8'0s indie films and directed/appeared in videos for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's also my understanding that Alex hated making the Lost Boys, as Joel Schumacher is a pain in the ass to work with.

Interview with a Vampire
Dracula (1931)

Her hair is bigger than some planets, and looks awesome. And lots of 14-15 year olds I showed the film to in class this year still either wanted to fuck her or be her. I like that.

Because it had the potential to be so much more awesome. The last 30 minutes were a bit of a let down.
