I'm not into sci fi AT ALL, however some parts of that show tap into my strong need and habit of question what is life about, what does it mean to live, why are we here?? etc etc etc.
The episode that hooked me was one where there was this ballerina that dies at the end, anyway at the beginning Sarah talks about how machines want to destroy humans because they are cold and have no soul whatever, and the moment they develop feelings the war will stop because they would be like humans, but that they can't because they can't create art, feel love, etc.
Yet the last scene of the episode was of the girl robot dancing a ballet that she had learned, and she was doing it flawlessly, like better than any virtuous ballerina, and the guy that was on 90210 just stared in sheer horror and dread because she was no different than a human ballerina, she was a robot and she was creating art, something they are not capable of doing, and I just loved it so much.
