Elisabeth was so rude in that last one....It's alright for her to rant, and I might add spiel "information" she's manipulated to fit her beliefs...when Sherri finally wants to make a point, she doesn't listen, she just repeats "relax...relax..." in a really condescending way I might add. Ironic, considering whenever Elisabeth was speaking her regurgitated Republican crap while Rosie was on the show, she'd always be doing it very flustered, flailing her arms about in the air...I haven't seen her this rude since she was a bitch and a half to Lisa Loeb.

Yeah did you see in that last clip how Barbara said "They arent clapping for you" and Elisabeth said something and then said Im not used to getting applause anyway.
I think she has turned into an Anne Coulter clone. They are already starting to rotate hosts even if it is for one segement or a whole show like Monday. I think people are just tired of her being so rigid and uncomprising. In some ways some of the pundits are saying that they are helping the MCain campaign cause they say his name more often.
Vote for a former Weatherman that was once in your living room with a gracious and good example of a wife or vote for one of The Keating Five which made people lose money with a wife who pops pills. Your choice.

what has always irked me about the view is that i can never figure out what the fuck qualifies these women to have a tv show to talk about "the issues"? and furthermore, i don't know how legitimate we can consider a program that jumps from a big heated debate about 9/11 and then announces they'll be back with a segment on "tampon saftey: do you know the dangers of menstural products?"

how many of these women have decent college degrees?
how many of them even read newspapers? how many could pass high school geography and history classes?
because i'm saying Barabra and Whoopi, maybe. and even then...

it appears to me that Sherri and Elizabeth are uneducated fundies who srsly believe the bible to be literal. Joy is a bush-hating liberal, Barabra is senile and usually aloof or neutral, and then Whoopi Goldberg? what the fuck?

To start with I found their political bitchfights amusing, but now it's just starting to wear thin. It's like EVERY show turns into a yelling match about the election. And despite Barbara saying repeatedly she didn't want them mentioning the smear campaigns, like the William Ayers stuff, Elisabeth won't shut the hell up about it.

They had Elisabeth tell the audience on Friday that she was not I repeat not going to take up FOX on thier sweetheart deal and use her parachute clause from ABC.
Elisabeth is educated, she went into the arts and like Cindy Brady designed shoes for awhile with Rebok (Cindy Brady of Brady Bunch fame designed for Converse)
Elisabeth was a sports player and had the wedding to quarterback Hasselbeck from Seattle Seahawks right beforw she won the contest to be the cohost (Real World Sand Fran Republican girl forget the name was also a contender)
- Elisabeth does not have any news qualifications but does have education. She also stated on Friday that she does not want her anme used in the same sentence as Anne Coulter. Funny I had just emailed The View and said I was kid of happy she was going to FOX cause she had turned into an Anne Coulter like figure.
-Sherri I believe has no education. She is a mockery of Star Jones. She was fat when she began and is now skinnying up and also seems to be wearing alot of Stars old weaves and wigs. I think she was hired cause she just worked for a law firm and not a real lawyer like Star was.
- Joy is being hailed as "The Female Mark Twain" for her social commetary and also "Comedianne turned Edward R Morrow" for her hard hitting questions about the war and when they have politicians on.She has an education and was once a teacher and didnt get into the NYC Tinsletown scene until she reached her late thirties early fourties.
- Babs is still the best. Read her book.
- Whoopi, well liked Rosie better but do like how Whoopi is finally getting more fiesty and not walking on eggshells like her first year. I think she only has a 10th grade education but has the street smarts and the riches since she does say good things about McCain. She knows how to pull strings since she has a huge resumay.
I want it to go back to how it was though.
Right now there are three comediennes and one ournalist.
I want to see the lawyer again, the Meridith type person, the pop culutre person that was replaced with a Republican pundit (Stepahnie Metonopulous> Saint Lisa Ling > Elisabeth)

View has been getting lots of press lately!!! Alot has to do with show going towards a politcal stance which is good I think.
Joy Behar is also a regular guest or host on larry King now.
They say she is supposed to be the female Mark Twain as far as Social commentary goes.
Rumors of some cast changes in fall of 09 though.

Joy's great. Even Whoopi seems to be exasperated with Elisabeth now. It'll be interesting what happens with the show after the election as that's all they've been talking about for the last six months or so.

The View was far more entertaining when Meredith Viera was on it.

Now it's a piece of shit.

Hasslebeck was a poor choice and she is certainly NOT a replacement for Lisa Ling (who is not only educated but also a great fit for the show).

I do miss Meredith too.

One thing I always wondered is are they discouraged from expressing their political opinions? I mean, if it's supposed to be their "views" shouldn't they be able to say what they want about the candidates? (Sorry, I really haven't watched the show since Lisa left and have only loosely followed the "drama" of Rosie and such).

Miss the old cast. Want there to be a lawyer, a hard journalist, Joy, Babs and fire the rest.

They had an episode on Friday where GLAAD called and Whoopi had a bullet point list of things GLAAD said they indeed get wrong.
Ellen Degeneres they said even called the show over the weekend to call them out on some of the Misinformation alot of it spewed by ZElisabeth Hasselbeck the main culprit and Sherri Sheppard.
Even on todays episode (Monday) Elisabeth spread misinformation by repratldly saying 62 percent instead of 52 percent... I am feeling misled by ABC if they are goingto do this to people in there living rooms, dumb them down and feed them misinformation on a News oriented enterainment gabfest.
Everyone please tell two people to tell two people to email The Vuew and ask for Elisabeth and Sherri to be removed and get people in there with qualifiacations even if they are right wing. This new cast is beocomg a joke. Email them and tell them to let Elisabeth and Sherri go and then tell two of your friends to do and and tell them to pass it on.

Larry King will be gone tommorow and Joy Behar a regular commentator and host is gathering up a host of commentators gay and straight , religious and non relgious for talk on Prop 8 tommorow (Friday) on Larry King. Email in a question.
I love Joy Behar. She speaks for the people. Not for a religion, political party etc.
Anyway Joy will be the host and have a panel on tommorow. I like it when she hosts because she does the panelist job every day. She speaks for the people but will have to keep mum tommorow if she has to be like Babs and Larry. Hope she speaks up for the gays like she does almost weekly on the show.
I hope they can Elisabeth for speading misinformation.
Can Sherri and give her a sitcom shes funny but as a panelist and growing up and breaking free from the Jehovah Witness Cult she isnt as educated. Whoopi only has a ninth grade education you know. She said last week on air and always part of her bio. Whoopi isnt a Jesus freak like Sherri tho.

Ive been hooked on this show since i started to hear about Stars wieght loss long before anyo fo the shakeups. Before that only watched once in awhile and ow it is a Tivo staple.
Isnt t weird how Whoopi has loosened up since after the election. No more walking on egg shells in hopes of getting the Palin interview.

I love my View mugs. They are autgraphed by every cast member except Elisabeth who was in the cast during Season 10 which means kind hearted Rosie!! She speaks for no religion or politcal party she, like Whoopi and Joy speak for the people!!!!
