I didn't know there were short stories...has anyone read them? How do they relate to the main books?

Quinn has never appealed to me in the slightest. It's the baldness plus her tendency to harp on about his big, strong teeth. I'm picturing him with massive chompers, like this guy:

ha so true! The way she went on and on about his massive, shiny bald head and huge teeth is pretty off-putting. Same as whenever she describes what people are wearing. I just finished reading a part in book six, where Sookie is wearing SUPER tight mid-thigh spandex biking shorts, with a hot pink tank top that shows her belly, and crystal beaded sandals. What the hell?!

That's part of the series charm though, I suppose. The country cheesiness.

And yeah...describing Quinn as a hulking great bald dude with huge teeth is just not hot. Even her description of Bill makes him sound really old and boring. Makes Alcide and Eric even better by comparison.

I haven't read the short stories, but from what I've heard, some of them don't feature Sookie and are just about other random characters, like I think there's one about the Britlingens?

Just saw the episode where they have Sookie's grandmothers funeral and she gets it on with Bill. For some reason hearing Cat Power at the end made me go all mushy

I just want to know and don't mind if someone tells me, does anything come up about her grandmother again or is that it? I got the impression there was going to be a lot more said about her past? Maybe some explanation about Sookie's mind reading abilities?
