| Grace is Gone (with John Cusack) A very sad but, very good movie. If you don't cry at the end then you are a robot.
Plot: A man's wife is killed while serving in Iraq. Upon hearing the news he goes into emotional shock and cannot bring himself to tell his two daughters that their mom has died. So he takes them on a trip to a Disney World like amusement park in order to avoid facing the inevitable.
The acting in this movie is very good. John Cusack is so good in this that I won't be surprised if he gets some nominations for this film. He transforms himself so well into the role of a straight laced middle American, that for the first time I was not sexually attracted to John Cusack (never thought that would happen). |
