I just spent last night watching Bottom so I had to make a thread about it. Is anyone into any alternative comedy? Particularly with Rik Mayall, Adrian Edmondson, Nigel Planer.

Or the "playing chess" with giant spiderman etc. Classic.

Actually, I like almost all parts of those shows.

The definitive moment of bottom was when they got the secret tape of the MP receiving some anal sex. I had to laugh - it made me feel like I was not the only one who did it.

My dad recorded the first night of Channel 4, which was 2 years before I was born. The first evening's entertainment was The Comic Strip Presents... so I spent many happy pre-school days watching Five Go Mad On Mescaline

My all time favourite Bottom moment is on the final episode on Series 3 when Richie steals that camera and he wants to make his own prime time chat show. When he has the wig on and he says "Hello and Good Morning, should traffic wardens by armed? In the studio..." and then he falls down face first into the toilet. I could watch that scene over and over.
