He got the mask in Friday the 13th part 3. He killed someone and took it from him. It was never a mystery.

that trailer looks pretty awful. i still don't see the point of all these remakes. they aren't doing anything remotely new or interesting with these older films - and come on, horror films from the 80s are hardly old enough to merit remakes. aside from that, part of the reason the first few friday films are creepy to me is the atmosphere and tone, something they aren't going to be able to recreate at all.
i just looked on imdb and apparently michael bay (who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near movies) is also doing the remake of a nightmare on elm street for 2010. WHY?

Friday the 13th part II was way the best film in the series and i really did prefer the whole sack thing over the head! As for the Nightmare on Elm Street remake i've not been so infuriated by anything film wise in a long time... oh and the Suspiria remake... oh well Remade in the USA

Friday the 13th is one of my favorite movies, in fact I love all of them so much. Part II was so great, it was terrifying. I adore slashers and especially Friday the 13th, and seeing as it wasn't some deep, amazing film in the first place, I think the re-make could be a lot of fun. Usually I bitch about remakes because they ruin it or make it silly but that's THE POINT OF FRIDAY THE 13TH! I can't wait!
I really really would like a sly cameo from Betsy Palmer
Friday part 2 was brill... I really did like the movies as well as the other camp movie The burning.... Cropsy was mint... that scene in the boat where the fingers come off!

and the first two fridays were the best. they said they are taking the new friday from the first four. pamela vorhees is touched upon. he does wear the sack and the hockey mask.
i like remakes. it is kind of fun to see a different spin on movies. i mean there are a few i didn't like. but, i am okay with them for the most part. as long as they are not pg13.
The Burning was mint! I really liked it! I remember buying it when i was about 12 when it was released after being banned for yonks and i said to my mom and stepdad "hey lets watch this..." and the looks they gave me! they musta thought i was psychotic to find some of it funny!
