The Wicker Man - the old version
My Fair Lady - Classic!
Breakfast at Tiffany's - uber!
Suspiria/Inferno/The Mother of Tears - The three mothers trilogy rocks!
Dancer in the Dark - the Bjork movie that made me cry
White Zombie/The Corpse Vanishes - Bela Lugosi's finest

Anyway, back to the topic, I recommend:
Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
The Taming of the Shrew
Suddenly, Last Summer
Sunset BOULEVARD
Mildred Pierce(a-mazing movie)
Lolita(1997 version)
and oh I don't know what else. Those are movies that spring to mind, I love them. |

| | | I always hear mixed reviews about Vincent Price movies. It seems like they're a love'em or hate'em kind of thing. I dunno. I haven't watched one yet.
I'll be checking out a lot of these movies. |

awww... im a sucker for badly made English horror... i was gonna put down Dr Jekyll and Sister Hyde from the Hammer Horror golden age but thought against it. I liked Masque... especially the satanic plot with Juliana. I just have a fancy for Vincent Price i guess
Witchfinder General is a good Vincent Price movie and so is
The Pit and the Pendulum

Did you English-speaking people watch it with subtitles or dubs (or whatever they're called)?
I think it's one of the best Dutch movies ever made...
And Carice van Houten is such a hottie:

| | | I've heard a lot of good things about Carnival Of Souls. The movie rental place doesn't have it, so I suppose I'll end up just having to buy it. :P :P I'm so leary of buying movies I've never seen. |

I think it's one of the best Dutch movies ever made... | Definitely with subtitles. Dubbing is grotesque.

| | | I make it a point not to watch Wes Craven movies. They usually blow. Although, I do admit to seeing Cursed in theaters though . . . but that was a date. :P |
