Campaign For More Gratuitous Sex In Movies

I would like to start a campaign for more gratuitous sex in movies. Do I have to do anything other than say I am on this campaign in order to be on it?

My thinking goes: people will always complain about how much gratuitous sex there is in movies, and we'll always have to hear about it. So if they're going to do it anyway, can it please at least be really gratuitous, adding absolutely nothing to the plot, and ideally properly dirty sex, with the kind of positions people actually do, without all that weird writhing about shit?

Cmon people, don't you miss shit like Double Impact? I mean, what is the point of that scene? NONE. Is the film worth watching without it? NO.

Meh, I'm not after hardcore pornography or anything, I'd just like films to live up to the reputation that they're going to have anyway. Films with sex in > porn with plot, for obvious reasons, really; one's pleasantly surprising, the other's the exact opposite of that.

I want more sex on screen, and more good sex, but I'd still prefer it was integral to the plot. Within said "integral" sex scenes, I'd like the footage to be more specifically gratuitous.

Nah. I just want to see actors with their kit off getting filthy with people, I'm not overly bothered how forced and pathetic it looks. Although as a preference I'd rather not go for that weird version of missionary they have in Hollywood where the guy looks like he's trying to eat the woman's neck and stuff.


What kind of movie would you be watching where it was "integral" though? I'd rather just use gratuitous nookie as a means of salvaging otherwise terrible movies. There's got to be a point when someone's making a movie when they've realised it's rubbish and not worth trying to turn around for the sake of art or vision or whatever. At that point, the director should abandon any pretence of it being anything other than trash and just throw in some pointless sex, ideally at a really inappropriate moment when the characters involved really should be doing something else like diffusing a bomb or something.

Teen horrors are probably the best ones for this, as they tend to get reasonably hot, relatively unknown young actors in because apparently that makes it better when they get hacked up or something? But really, if you're going to the trouble of getting someone hot in, why aren't they at least seminaked in EVERY SCENE? It's just wasteful.

and how about consecutive sex scenes? that rarely happens, like one isn't awkward enough imagine if it just cut to some other characters going at it

You nearly get that in Hostel, but it's more interlaced than consecutive. But yeah, I'd definitely rather have one complete sex scene, followed immediately by a total other one. Cuz, you know, we're guys, one is never quite enough to get you there.

Also, can we please see some threesomes in movies that aren't specifically about threesomes (and about how everyone who has one gets murdered or something)? I know they're not that common, but they still happen for god's sake.

Integral to the plot? You know, movies about failing marriages, sex therapists, CCTV perverts, serial killer prostitutes, university coeds, Scandinavian people, unconventional people resisting society's norms, any gay people ever, teenz on drugs, rock bands...

Do it. Quick, before Joel Schumacher tries, and ruins it. Or Paul Verhoeven tries, and nearly succeeds.

They already have that. Seriously, every other film I'm recommended to, the person describing it will mention a rape scene as at least the 3rd reason why I should watch it. The directors are always like "we really want to make sure we didn't eroticise it", and I'm like "Jesus fucking Christ, why not!?"
