this is a subject that really creeps me out: Child Beauty Queens.

So I'm watching this later on BBC iPlayer (cause i don't have digital TV):



The docu is called Sasha - Beauty Queen at 11. It always seems to me like the mother wants to have a Barbie doll not a daughter in most cases. It's just sick isn't it? It's wrong to treat your children like this. She's obvioulsy living through her daughter and with time I think her daughter will ulitmately resent her for that. The real problem is how she's sexualised her daughter at such a young age.

And she's from my beautiful hometown. How lovely.
