this is a subject that really creeps me out: Child Beauty Queens.
So I'm watching this later on BBC iPlayer (cause i don't have digital TV): 
The docu is called Sasha - Beauty Queen at 11. It always seems to me like the mother wants to have a Barbie doll not a daughter in most cases. There's also a *cough* DailyMail article on her/her mother here, and it's not often the Mail's opinion and mine are similar: Mummy's little Lolita: The 11-year-old girl whose beauty treatments cost £300 a month to make her look like Barbie | Mail Online

I've taken so long to watch this because I couldn't stand it all in one go. What a horrendous couple the parents are - she's pushy and obviously projecting onto her kids, and he's henpecked and doesn't seem to know his wife at all. Poor kids.
I'm so pissed off I'm considering having my own children out of anger, and then bringing them up with healthy values and the knowledge that image isn't everything and they can achieve whatever they want if they put their mind to it. Except being in beauty pageants.

Jordan and Britney Spears are BOTH sex symbols. However, while they both were famous for how they looked in undies, I didn't hear anything about Jordan having a really good run in the music industry and her amazing dancing ability. Britney DOES come off as really down-to-earth in interviews. I don't care about Jordan's tits enough to look up any interviews with her. Plus, Britney's doing so much better now for herself and her kids anyways.
Obviously, that whole article was DISGUSTING but that bit I found really bizarre. Jordan a better role model than Britney Spears? Bitch please! Why would you want your 11 year old to idolize a glamour model?
