Most anticipated film of the summah.

i am not really big on superhero films, but I am kind of looking forward to this. i thought i would hate the first Batman with Christian Bale. But, it was pretty amazing. and this looks so much better. I love all the actors in it. So, I too cannot wait to see this one.

Nolans Batman interpretations are much more realistic to the comics I do believe....there is also more backstory to the characters, and I'm glad he took the reigns of the franchise.

The original Batman, while very good, was much more campy. Jack played a great Joker for how Burton envisioned him, but Ledger is thus far looking fantastic with the vision Nolan has for the character.

We wont mention the films in between Batman and Batman Begins...not worth it. Burton did well, Nolan has done great so far and looks to have hit another homerun.

Glad Katie Holmes is no longer continuing on in her role. That was the only mistake Batman Begins produced.

I enjoyed Batman Begins, a lot, and I love Christian Bale. I hope Heathie Heath doesn't suck too bad.

I'm sooooo looking forward to this movie. I think the Joker is what helps make a good Batman movie. Nicholson did a great job in 89 I just hope Heath does a good job in this new one.

I hated Batman Begins so I hope this doesn't disappoint.

I actually find the 1989 movie a lot darker than Batman Begins and not at all campy.
I'd feel more threatened hanging out in the Gotham City shown in that movie than the one used in any of following four Batman films.

Nicholson is funny as the Joker, but he also creates this tension where we're always waiting for him to strike. I think the scene where he has Vicki Vale captive in the art museum is more effective than the Scarecrow /Rachel Dawes scene in the asylum basement.

Also, I think the beginning of the first one, where that family gets mugged - Batman dangles the mugger over the roof, orders him to tell all his friends about him and then jumps over the ledge and disappears is the best live action Batman stuff ever filmed. It looks amazing (especially the shot where they're going through the wallet and we see Batman descend behind them) and says everything.

Err, I wrote a lot more than I intended. I do like Batman Begins a lot, and am really looking forward to The Dark Knight.

i really don't see why they need to do a remake of a perfectly good film.

if they remake Batman Returns, which is even better than Batman, i will stand outside the movie theatre and scream.

why the fuck can't people come up with more original stuff instead of this general spewing of remakes and adaptations.

They aren't remaking anything.

There is a story arc that started in Batman Begins, and it's not gonna end until sometime after this film, whenever that next one gets released.

The other Batmans have nothing to do with this.

Batman and Batman Begins, along with the dark knight, are really all you would need to watch.

Batman and Robin, Batman Forever and all that other BS was tripe.

I will say that I am disappointed Maggi G. is starring in this film. I feel she's too safe or something. I didn't like Katie Holmes in the other film either.

I really liked Kim Bassinger in the original so maybe I am biased, but I still feel they could have added a female lead with more pizzaz. No?

Agreed, but to me, anybody is a step up from Holmes...Holmes just does not make a convincing attorney at all.
