I agree with a good number of those choices. Generally, I can see eye to eye with Entertainment Weekly; their lists rarely disappoint me. For added obnoxiousness, these are the ones I love the most out of that list:
1. Pulp Fiction (1994)
4. Blue Velvet (1986)
9. Die Hard (1988)
11. This Is Spinal Tap (1984)
13. GoodFellas (1990)
16. Boogie Nights (1997)
18. Do the Right Thing (1989)
20. The Lion King (1994)
22. Rushmore (1998)
27. Aliens (1986)
28. Wings of Desire (1988)
31. Brokeback Mountain (2005)
33. The Breakfast Club (1985)
34. Fargo (1996)
44. The Player (1992)
48. Scarface (1983)
49. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000)
58. Ghostbusters (1984)
62. sex, lies and videotape (1989)
68. Witness (1985)
70. Broadcast News (1987)
71. Unforgiven (1992)
72. Thelma & Louise (1991)
74. Drugstore Cowboy (1989)
77. Sid and Nancy (1986)
78. Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
80. Michael Clayton (2007)
81. Moonstruck (1987)
83. Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn (1987)
91. Back to the Future (1985)

well i saw donnie brasco on there and that made me think of donnie darko, and now i'm wondering why that film isn't on the list? it's not like i love it or anything but it's a pretty damn good movie and it's a big deal to most people when they see it for the first time.

unless it is on there and i can't see it.

I'm going to have to agree with this.

If they're going to put a Pixar movie, I'd prefer if was Monsters, Inc. or Finding Nemo.

sure, i completely agree that monsters inc and finding nemo were great, but i really think toy story is more of a 'classic' than they are...

Yeah I know. I think it was Pixar's first big movie and for it's well-beloved, but personally I just don't see how Toy Story ranks above Die Hard or the Matrix especially if we're talking classics.

I think it's not a bad list. Not too drawn into a need to have "meaningful" choices, but not self-consciously reacting against it either by shamelessly throwing in populist dross in the name of spurious revisionism. Or some such shit. Okay, so maybe some of the choices are fairly spurious. I refuse to accept that Men in Black is a good film, I really do.

I bolded the ones I approve of. I underlined the ones I have seen. Because you all care so fucking much.

I found Waiting for Guffman the weirdest choice... not because it's bad but because it seems to me so much less remarkable than their similar films such as Best in Show or A Mighty Wind.

I ignored the rankings, which were obviously daft, I just sort of thought "should this piece of crap be anywhere in a top 100"?

I've actually hired most of them at some time from Civic Video Ilam Village, but not got around to watching them, I'm bad for that. Damn $1 Wednesday. Actually, I own a couple of the films I haven't seen... I'm so lazy.

This list came out of the EW's 1000th issue. It's all about rankings and top lists, etc.

They ranked LTT at 99 of best albums list or something. And Courtney came in at 16 on the list for 50 pop culture fashion moments or whatever (for her babydoll look).

So, I'm not sure if this gives much credibility to the movie list...I guess it does?
