My Ex and I were big fans of Totoro.

However the happiest movies EVER doesn't seem as happy to me now.

Love indeed. It really is quite the best thing. I've been converting people to Doctor Who of late, but I often take time to convince them (it's not hard) of the wonders of Miyazaki.

See I never really got into Doctor Who. I catch it on TV from time to time (David Tennant helps) but I just don't ... obssess.

Same here. Miyazaki is a genius for sure and has one of the best imaginations ever to evince in film imo. Spirited Away truly is a cinematic masterpiece. As for my favourite character... well, all of them are extremely well-developed but on a personal level I would say Haku. For some reason, I find it easy to connect with a river spirit trying to change his destiny. Also, he's just so nice!
