jesus, people are going to love him regardless. it IS a bit of a cop out. but whatever he can do as he pleases i guess. he doesnt realize that is appeal is not as closely tied to that kind of stuff like it would be with, say, an actor. he actually does concrete shit, lol.

I agree, I don't think he does guard it all that closely, he's seen at a lot of gay social events and stuff. He's had to answer questions because he occasionally slips, like when he was debating Jerry Falwell on gay marriage and said "we pay taxes".

But he still has to appeal to the widest audience possible, and a lot of people would not be prepared to watch a gay newscaster. Apparently he was fairly open when he was still on local news, but CNN represses this and made him go back in the closet - "his handlers at CNN [are] known to call sites and ask editors to delete references to Anderson Cooper being gay"

really? he looks pretty young to me, aside from the gray hair. which doesnt really make someone look *old* per se. he looks mid-late 30s to me, and teh gray hair suits him fantastically.

pretty sure. i think he had dark auburn hair before though. he's a cute guy.
